Adams Appeal
ADAMS APPEAL - On Saturday 3rd July Bushido Warriors Junior Karate Students part took in a sponsored Kickathon! Our students aged from 5 to 14 were tasked with doing as many kicks in one hour as possible. As their Sensei I set them an almost impossible target of 5000 kicks, however, they achieved a massive 12,306 kicks!!
Early calculations indicate that the junior members of Bushido Warriors have raised approx £1200 for Adams Appeal!

The Bill Tanikie Award
Bill Tanikie was an inspirational man and anyone who knew Bill would agree that no one was more committed to the martial arts.
Although I have had numerous Instructors, I will always consider Bill to be my main Instructor and more importantly, my friend.
Sadly, Bill passed away in 2004.
The Bill Tanikie Award has been presented for the first time this year. It was awarded to the student who has shown the most inspiration and commitment throughout the year.
I am pleased to announce that David Watkins was the recipient of this years award. Well done David. You thoroughly deserve the award.
